Introduction

Large-scale data analysis system(LSC)
The large-scale data analysis system co-operated with the Astronomy Data Center(ADC) and Subaru Telescope is an open-use computer system for analyzing large-scale data including Subaru Telescope Hyper Suprime-Cam(HSC)'s data. Currently, this system is handling not only HSC's data (open-use observation data, archive data, and the Subaru Strategic Program(SSP) data), but also any observational data in astronomy and related fields.

Target user
Currently, the LSC accepts following users:
- HSC open-use observers of the current semester (They have a higher privilege to use LSC resources)
- General users.
Note that all the users need to have their own MDAS accounts.

Application for HSC open-use observers
If you are an HSC open-use observer of the current semester, please apply following the information from the Subaru Telescope (See Section 2-1 in the user's guide).

General use application
For those who would like to request the general use, please apply from the Application for General Use.
