Screen freeze occur in terminal workstations of MDAS frequently.
Dear MDAS users,
Thank you for using the Multi-wavelength Data Analysis System (MDAS).
Screen troubles (screen freeze) occur in terminal workstations (WS)
of MDAS frequently.
A solution of the problem will take some time because
an update patch of the problem is in preparation by RHEL.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
Please consider the followings when the trouble occurred.
- Please contact consult (e-mail) or extension 3832.
- A reboot of terminal WS is necessary when the trouble occurred.
The reboot has to be performed by ADC operators.
Please use another terminal WS in such cases
- The reboot do not complete by doing a long press of a power button.
(the booting stops at starting BIOS).
In addition, the long press of the power button may cause failures.
Please do not press the power button of WS.

日頃のご利用ありがとうございます。
現在、端末ワークステーション(端末WS)にて画面のフリーズが散発
しております。
本問題については、現在 OS (RHEL) 側の修正待ちになっていますが、
修正パッチの提供には時間がかかる見通しです。
ご不便をおかけして申し訳ありませんが、よろしくお願いいたします。
なお、端末WSの画面がフリーズした場合は、以下の対応を
ご検討頂ければと思います。
・端末WS の不具合が発生した際には、メール (consult) または、
内線 3832 までご連絡頂けれればと思います。
・不具合が発生した場合は、本体再起動が必要になります。
再起動は、運用支援・オペレータが行いますので、
ユーザの方は、近くの別の端末の利用をご検討頂ければと思います。
・なお、電源ボタンの長押しで停止/再起動は完了しません。
（BIOS起動時に止まります）。また、電源ボタン長押しは
本体故障の原因にもなりますので行わないようにしてください。
