[Urgent] Request for Password and Private/public key Change

Dear all users,
An illegal access to computers in the National Observatory of Japan
(NAOJ) occurred on Jan 29, 2014.
The Network committee of the NAOJ has made a decision for all the
computer users, as an urgent matter, to change the password of the
user account.
You are requested to change your password urgently. Please see below
the instruction to change your password on the data analysis system.
(Note)
As of today, no sign of serious problems on the data analysis system
has been detected. However, all system in the NAOJ has to follow the
decision and instruction by the Network Committee.
[To Change Your Password]
You must use the "modify_userinfo" command instead of "passwd" command
on the analysis system for changing your password.
e.g.) % modify_userinfo -p

[To Change Your SSH private/public keys]
If you use the SSH private/public keys on the system, please review the
following points:
1) Should not share your SSH private key on hosts.
2) Should set passphrase key of your SSH private key with "ssh-keygen -p".

多波長データ解析システム ユーザの皆様
2014年1月29日に判明した国立天文台（以下、本台）システムへの不正アクセス
問題を受け、本台ネットワーク委員会より、全てのコンピュータシステム上に
あるユーザアカウントのパスワードを変更するよう、指示がありました。
以下の要領で、多波長データ解析システムのパスワード変更を緊急に実施して
頂きますよう、よろしくお願いいたします。
（備考）
なお、本システムにおいては現在のところ、不正アクセスの形跡は見つかって
おりませんが、パスワード変更は本台の全てのシステムが対象になっています
ので、ご協力をお願いいたします。
[パスワードの変更]
本システムはパスワード変更の際に、独自コマンドを使用しております。
passwd コマンドではなく、modify_userinfo コマンドをご利用ください。
例) % modify_userinfo -p

[SSH 公開鍵について]
SSH 公開鍵をご利用の皆様は、次の点にご注意ください。
・SSH 公開鍵の使い回しをせず、各ホスト毎に作成してください。
・SSH 公開鍵には必ずパスフレーズを設定してください。
