多波長データ解析システム(MDAS)ユーザのみなさま、
2023年3月より、多波長データ解析システムの構成と運用に
変更がありますのでお知らせいたします。
1. 負荷分散装置の廃止
解析サーバへのログインの際に
kaim[kaih].ana.nao.ac.jp のホスト名は使えなくなります。
今後はログインしたい解析サーバのホスト名を直接指定して下さい。
kaimXX.ana.nao.ac.jp (XX は 01 から 20)
kaihYY.ana.nao.ac.jp (YY は 01 から 12)
なお、各サーバの最新の使用状況は下記をご覧下さい。

2. ソフトウェアの最大同時使用数の変更
IDL : 80 から 29 に変更
Mathematica : 5 から 2 に変更
3．共同利用室(すばる棟1F, ALMA棟1F, 南棟2F)設置機器の一部撤去
1) 端末ワークステーション(すばる棟、ALMA棟)
- 周辺装置(光ディスク装置、テープ装置)も併せて撤去されます。
- 代わりとなる端末を順次設置します。
2) ネットワークプリンタ(A3対応)
- 代わりにA4対応プリンタを設置します。
3) 大判プリンタ(ALMA棟、南棟の各1台)
- すばる棟の大判プリンタは今後も利用可能です。
- 南棟の大判プリンタ3台の内2台は今後も利用可能です。
※なお再設置完了まで暫く時間を頂く可能性があります。

Dear MDAS users,
We would like to inform you that there will be changes in
the configuration and operation of the Multi-wavelength Data
Analysis System from March 2023.
1. The load balancer will stop.
When logging in to the analysis servers, the host name
"kaim[kaih].ana.nao.ac.jp" will no longer be available.
Please directly specify the host name of the analysis
server you wish to log in to.
kaimXX.ana.nao.ac.jp (XX is 01 to 20)
kaihYY.ana.nao.ac.jp (YY is 01 to 12)

2. Changes in maximum simultaneous use of software
IDL : change from 80 to 29
Mathematica : change from 5 to 2
3. Part of the equipment in the open-use rooms (Subaru bldg. 1F,
ALMA bldg. 1F, South bldg. 2F) will be removed.
1) Terminal Workstations (Subaru bldg., ALMA bldg.)
Peripherals (optical disk device, tape device) will also be removed.
Replacement terminals are scheduled to be prepared sequentially.
2) Network Printers (A3 compatible)
A4 compatible printer will be installed instead.
3) Large Format Printers (one each in ALMA bldg. and South bldg.)
The large format printer in the Subaru bldg. and two of the three
large format printers in the South bldg. will remain available.
# It may take some time to complete the re-installation of the equipment.
