google-chrome cannot be used on MDAS due to security measures
Dear users,
Future security updates of google-chrome requires
an unsupported library (glibc-2.18) on MDAS.
We would like to avoid a installation of the unsupported library
on this system for stable system operation.
Therefore, google-chrome cannot be used on MDAS for the time being
due to security measures.
- Firefox as a web browser is available on this system.
Invalidation work of google-chrome will be carried out
on the following date,
Working date: 10:00am on October 26, 2021 (JST).
We apologized for the inconvenience.

今後の google-chrome のセキュリティアップデートについて、
システム未サポートのライブラリ (glibc-2.18) が
必要になることが分かりました。
システム安定運用のため、未サポートのライブラリ導入は避けたいので、
セキュリティ面を考慮し、google-chrome については、
当面の間、使用不可とさせて頂きます。
※なおウェブブラウザとしては、当システムでは Firefox が利用できます。
google-chrome 無効化の作業は以下の日時で実施させて頂きます。
